For trainee memberships and registrations, we require a letter of verification from the applicant’s supervisor with the following requirements met:

  1. A brief statement on institution letterhead that describes the applicant’s:
    1. Training program
    2. Type of degree
    3. Field of study
    4. Expected date of completion/graduation
  2. Signed by the department head or adviser

Trainee membership requires that this letter be updated and resubmitted annually at renewal time.

Non-member event registrants must provide their letter of verification at the time of registration in order to receive the non-member registration rate.
