Overview: This course aims at outlining the basic clinical motivation behind myocardial tissue characterization and highlights the fundamental MR techniques used to quantify and map the myocardium. Both clinicians and scientists will be able to take away a broad prospective of the essential role of MR in characterizing various myocardial tissue types.
