Happy New Year, MRI radiographers and technologists!
As we gear up for an exciting meeting ahead, we are close to confirming all our speakers, and I am thrilled to share some updates about the upcoming ISMRT Annual Meeting in Singapore, 03-06 May, 2024. Our team has been diligently working to develop a program that promises to be enlightening and enriching for all attendees.
You may have already heard about our much-anticipated keynote speaker, Charlene Liew, MBBS, FRCR, who will present on the realm of AI in radiology. With advancements in artificial intelligence revolutionizing various industries, Dr. Liew’s insights are sure to shed light on AI’s transformative potential within the MRI field.
Additionally, we are honored to feature Matthew Rosen, Ph.D., as our plenary speaker, who will discuss low field MRI. His expertise promises to provide invaluable insights into this area of MRI technology, opening new avenues for research and clinical applications.
But that’s not all! Our program will have an array of educational forums covering a spectrum of topics, including safety, neuroimaging, body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, cardiac imaging, cancer imaging, pediatric imaging, and research methodologies. These forums will serve as invaluable platforms for knowledge exchange and professional development within specialized areas of MRI.
We are also proud to introduce two bilingual forums in Chinese and Japanese this year.
Highlighting the vibrant MRI community in Singapore, we have invited eight local speakers to share their expertise across the educational forums. Their insights and perspectives will undoubtedly enrich the discussions and provide unique insights into regional practices and advancements.
For MR radiographers and technologists seeking to expand their horizons, we are excited to offer two masterclasses under the theme of branching out led by radiographers for radiographers. These sessions will discuss professional development pathways, including “How To Do a Ph.D.,” providing invaluable guidance and inspiration for career advancement.
Our Global Showcase Session will shine a spotlight on ISMRT members and MRI education initiatives worldwide, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing on a global scale.
